Websites and the software behind them
digosoft is a small development studio in Frankfurt am Main. We design company websites, write applications and operate both on our own servers.

02Two disciplines
We work at both ends: on the site your customers see, and on the application your team works with.
Websites
From the first outline to a site delivered in milliseconds. We build statically, so there is nothing left running that could break.
- Corporate sites, relaunches, single campaign pages
- Editorial work through a CMS, if you want to write yourself
- Built for accessibility, tested with keyboard and screen reader
- Loading times we measure before handover and tell you
Software
Line-of-business applications, interfaces and automation. Not a tool only we can operate, but code your team can read later on.
- Interfaces between systems that are currently bridged by hand
- Routines that run by themselves at night instead of by hand on Thursdays
- Databases, reports and small applications with user permissions
- Operated in containers, with backups and a way back
03Process
Four steps, the same every time.
- 01Conversation
- We sit down together and work out what the project has to achieve and who will be working with it. After that you know what we would build, how long it takes and what it costs. Only then does the work begin.
- 02Draft
- You see structure and design applied to your own content, never to dummy text. For software the starting point is a working slice rather than a slide deck: a narrow path through the entire application.
- 03Build
- We work in short rounds and show every interim state on a test address. What is finished has been checked: loading times, keyboard operation, behaviour on small screens, backups.
- 04Operation
- Nothing is left to sit after launch. We keep updates current, watch availability and certificates, and get in touch before you notice anything. The source code is yours, and you can move on at any time.
04Principles
What we hold to, even when nobody is looking.
- Static wherever possible
- A page delivered as a finished file has nothing that can break at runtime. We add moving parts where they serve a purpose.
- Our own servers
- We run our infrastructure ourselves, in German data centres. No website-builder subscription, no dependency on a provider nobody can cancel.
- No tracking without a reason
- Measuring is allowed, but it has to be justified. Where there is nothing to measure we collect nothing, and then no consent banner is needed either.
- Readable code
- We write so that another team can carry on. Handover means source code, documentation and credentials, not a conversation behind closed doors.

Tell us what needs building.
Two or three sentences are enough to start. We usually reply the same working day and tell you honestly whether we are the right people for the job.
