Contact
Write to info@digosoft.de. It helps to include your macOS version, the version of digoMailCheck, the provider concerned (Gmail, iCloud, 1und1 and so on) and the exact wording of the error. Replies usually arrive within two working days.

Requirements
- A Mac running macOS 14 or later.
- A mailbox that offers IMAP. POP is not supported.
- A user name and a password. There is no OAuth sign-in.
Gmail or iCloud reports a wrong password
Both providers allow classic IMAP login only with an app-specific password. Create one in the security settings of your account and enter it instead of your normal password. This applies whenever two-factor authentication is switched on, which is the default at both providers.
No notifications arrive
First check that the folder is actually selected in the settings; the app only reports folders you selected. Then check under System Settings, Notifications, that digoMailCheck is allowed to send them. Servers without IDLE are polled at intervals, so a new message can appear there with a delay.
The keychain asks on every launch
That happens with self-built versions whose signature changes. The App Store version has a stable signature and asks only once. If you switch from the direct download to the store version, you need to enter your passwords once more, because the two versions use separate areas of the keychain.
Where are my credentials
In the macOS keychain and nowhere else. The app transmits them to no place other than the IMAP server you entered yourself. The details are in the privacy policy for the app.
Purchase, invoice and refunds
The purchase runs through the Mac App Store, where your contract is with Apple. Invoices, returns and refunds are therefore handled by Apple, through reportaproblem.apple.com or your purchase history.
